Today’s Smoothie

  • 1 pear – quartered
  • 2 large spoonfuls of plain yogurt
  • 1 cup white grape juice

 

 

Put all ingredients into blender – in order that they are mentioned.  Blend, using ‘smoothie’ setting (if using Blentech).  Pour into glass… Enjoy!

Tastes like green apple!

Kale Smoothie w/ Kiwi

  • 12 oz almond milk or coconut milk
  • 2 cups fresh kale
  • 2 kiwis
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 lemon

 

Delicious way to get your vegetables!

July 1st smoothie of the day! :)

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 halved strawberries
  • 1/2 cup french vanilla yogurt
  • 1/4 cup cranberry juice

Put into blender in order that ingredients are mentioned.  Pour into glass.  Serve chilled for best results!

French vanilla lait Smoothie

  • Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie Recipe3/4 banana
  • 2 strawberries cut in half
  • 1/2 cup french vanilla yogurt,
  • 1/2 cup milk

Put in blender, Blend until smooth.  Enjoy!

Eating Healthier

My family just acquired a Blendtec Total Blender, FourSide Jar, Black… and I have got to say… this is the best investment I have made in eons!  The ability to blend vegetables, fruits, liquids and other nutritional elements into delicious (mostly) and highly nutritional drinks, sauces, etc. is amazing!

This morning, for breakfast, I blended:

  • 1 cup fresh picked raspberries
  • 4 slices of cucumber (1/4 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup french vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk (I used regular cows milk, but you can substitute whatever you want)
  • 10 black grapes

The result was a delicious, fresh tasting smoothie that gave me added energy for the day.
