How To Make Apple Cider Vinegar

Here’s how to make your own apple cider vinegar at home.

Ingredients:

  • Apple peelings or cores
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar per one cup of water
  • water
  • Glass jar

Instructions

  1. Fill the glass jar ¾ full with the peels and cores
  2. Stir the sugar into the water until it dissolves
  3. Pour over the apple scraps until the are covered – leave a few inches at the top
  4. Cover the jar with a coffee filter and a rubber band
  5. Allow the jar to sit in a warm and dark place for two weeks
  6. Stir the vinegar at least 3 times a week
  7. Skim off any scum on the top
  8. Strain after two weeks
  9. Let the vinegar set for another 2-4 weeks until desired taste.
  10. Pour into a jar, cover with a lid and keep in the cupboard.

Mint Oreo Pudding Shots

  • 1 small Pkg. cookies ‘n creme instant pudding
  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Creme De Menthe
  • 8oz tub Cool Whip

 

Directions

1. Whisk together the milk, liquor, and instant pudding mix in a bowl until combined.

2. Add cool whip a little at a time with whisk.

3.Spoon the pudding mixture into shot glasses, disposable shot cups or 1 or 2 ounce cups with lids.

Place in freezer for at least 2 hours

Ingredients

  • 5 cups (1,185 grams) water
  • 11/2 cups (165 grams) carrots, shredded (about 21/2 medium carrots)
  • 11/2 cups (170 grams) zucchini, shredded (about 1/2 large zucchini)
  • 1/4 cup (30 grams) whole-wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup (5 grams) Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 11/4 teaspoons ground chili powder
  • 2 stalks (25 grams) green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 large (50 grams each) eggs, whisked
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

Today’s Smoothie

  • 1 pear – quartered
  • 2 large spoonfuls of plain yogurt
  • 1 cup white grape juice

 

 

Put all ingredients into blender – in order that they are mentioned.  Blend, using ‘smoothie’ setting (if using Blentech).  Pour into glass… Enjoy!

Tastes like green apple!

  • 12 oz almond milk or coconut milk
  • 2 cups fresh kale
  • 2 kiwis
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 lemon
