Losing weight takes dedication… you need to have something or someone to help you get motivated. This could be your doctor, your husband, your friends, your kids, anyone. Without this motivation, you will lose the initial drive that you started out with. You will end up going back to your old, comfortable ways… and end up gaining even more weight.
This is something that people who are overweight need to understand. They don’t seem to realize that they only need to get motivated in order for their weight loss program to work. However, almost 35% of Americans cannot seem to comprehend this. They simply cannot get motivated enough to stay with an exercise program or the will power enough to stop eating the junk!
Of course, once someone is overweight, they will usually come to the conclusion that they need to slim down. This could be for many reasons, from a physical condition or from a fitness standpoint, or they may simply want to improve their appearance.
